Fill your clean litter box with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step® litter.
Litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste. Remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in trash.
Add more Fresh Step® clumping cat litter to refresh your litter box. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

Additional Instructions

Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.

Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Transition Instructions

If you’ve recently switched to Fresh Step Clumping litter, your cat may need a little time to adjust. This is the case with any litter. You can make the transition easier for your cat by mixing one part Fresh Step Clumping litter to one part old litter for a few days to a week. After one week, empty the box completely and refill with only Fresh Step Clumping litter.
